C.J.'s Mission

And he walks away...............................................................................
Saying Goodbye. They don't invite families in for an orientation anymore. After June, apparently due to the H1N1, they give you a few minutes to say good-bye at the curb and an Elder escorts your new missionary inside. On the bright side, it left little time for tears. I hugged C.J. and he says, "Mom I can't breath," then "I gotta go now." Who could ask for more. He says the MTC is just like being at EFY, only for 2 months instead of 1 week.

C.J.'s Mission

C.J. is feeling very impatient. We're just killing time at the University Mall where a little kid walked by us and ran to his mom and said "Mom, Mom, is that a missionary?" Can't think of a better way to start things off.

At the Hotel

These were taken at the hotel-La Quinta-in Provo. C.J. is ironing his suit on Wed morning.

C.J's mission

These were taken at the Stake Center at his setting apart. C.J. and Taylor
C.J. and Bishop Merrell
C.J. and best buddy Mark Rosell (who will hook up with him at the MTC on March 10th)

CJ's Mission

We took C.J. to the MTC on Tuesday. Here's some pictures from the week. This is his open house/birthday party (he turned 19 on Saturday the 23rd of January, 2 days before he left.
